Is there a consultation fee?

Weekday Consultations are Free of charge.

Saturday Consultations are R200,  appointments are 1h20min.

How long is a consultation?

1h20min for a new consultation.


1-3 Dresses

15-30 min for dress fittings (final dress fitting after order has been made) 

4+ Dresses

30-50 min for dress fittings (final dress fitting after order has been made) 

What is your lead time to make the dresses?

6 to 8 weeks. If you need a rush order you are welcome to ask us and we will try to accommodate your time frame.

What if my dress needs alterations?

You fit your dress after it has been made, to see if any alterations are needed. Usually it is just shortening of the length. 

If your dress is the wrong size due to faulty measurements given to us, we will happily fix it although it might incur an extra charge depending on the amount of work to be done. 
The best way to avoid this is to have the measurements taken correctly.

What if I want to lose weight?

If you are going to lose weight before the wedding it is best have your dress made closer to the wedding.

Do I have to make an appointment?

Yes. We do work on appointments. You can call or email to book an appointment.

What do I bring along to the consultation? 

The shoes and underwear you plan to wear with your dress. Eg. Strapless bra.

Any colour swatches you want to match the dress colours with.

What are your working hours? 

Tuesday - Friday: 8am - 4pm

Saturday: 8am - 3pm

Sunday & Monday closed 

How do consultations work? 

In a consultation you have a chance to try on sample dresses to find the style you want. You choose your colour and fabrics. All measurements are taken for your bridesmaids. You can discuss any other relevant questions with the consultant.

What if you don't have the colour we want?

If you bring a sample to us, we can try and source the closest match. You also have the option of sourcing the fabric yourself, but it would have to be the same type of fabric that we use for the dresses. No non stretch is allowed. 

What if I have a bridesmaid that lives far away/ overseas?

We have a measurement form that you can send them to fill in. If their measurements are taken correctly it should fit perfectly. We have done this many times before.

What if my bridesmaid is pregnant?

For pregnant bridesmaids we can make their dresses closer to the wedding. Also we make the dress that accommodates their belly's.

How does it work when I order? 

When you order will receive a quote, when the deposit is paid we start with the process of making the dresses. The dresses will be finished 6-8 weeks from the deposit date. When the dresses are finished you can make an appointment for the fitting to try on the dresses. You bring the shoes along aswell as the underwear you plan to wear with the dress. If any alterations need to be done, you can pick up your dresses a week later.

What is the deposit amount?

50% for normal orders. 

100% for online orders

100% for shorter lead time orders
